The Man Says, He Means This ..... The Woman Says, She Means That! How on Earth will Man and Woman connect?
How do you deal with tough doctrine?
With open arms, open minds! I am blessed - God's word is not so straight forward - in order to know a person, we need to spend a lot of time with the person. To know Jesus more and more, we have to invest and study the Bible thoroughly!!! Thank you Heavenly Father for gifting many teachers and pastors to shed more light into our simple mind! |
Enjoy and be provoked - but listen carefully to the teaching. Go back and check the Bible if it is according to God's teaching.
It may not be so simple! I am glad I listen to it! True Christianity and Gnosticism are mutually exclusive systems of belief.
The principles of Gnosticism contradict what it means to be a Christian. Therefore, while some forms of Gnosticism may claim to be Christian, they are in fact decidedly non-Christian. |

1 John 1 - for the Gnostic 1 John 2 - for Believers Paul's Epistles - for the Gentile Believers Peter, James, John epistles - for the Jews John 3:16 Romans 5:19 1 Cor 15:3-4 Hebrew 9:28 Hebrew 10:12-14 1 Peter 3:18 2 Peter 3:13-18 Peter endorsed Paul's writings Galatians 2 (James/Peter/John to the Jews; Paul to the Gentiles) 6 As for those who seemed to be important—whatever they were makes no difference to me; God does not judge by external appearance—those men added nothing to my message. 7 On the contrary, they saw that I had been entrusted with the task of preaching the gospel to the Gentiles, just as Peter had been to the Jews. 8 For God, who was at work in the ministry of Peter as an apostle to the Jews, was also at work in my ministry as an apostle to the Gentiles. 9 James, Peter and John, those reputed to be pillars, gave me and Barnabas the right hand of fellowship when they recognized the grace given to me. They agreed that we should go to the Gentiles, and they to the Jews. 10 All they asked was that we should continue to remember the poor, the very thing I was eager to do. |
Paul did not ask Believers in all his letters to repent and confess!
1 Corinthians 6 (Sexual Immorality) 12 “Everything is permissible for me”—but not everything is beneficial. “Everything is permissible for me”—but I will not be mastered by anything. 13 “Food for the stomach and the stomach for food”—but God will destroy them both. The body is not meant for sexual immorality, but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body. 14 By his power God raised the Lord from the dead, and he will raise us also. 15 Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ himself? Shall I then take the members of Christ and unite them with a prostitute? Never! 16 Do you not know that he who unites himself with a prostitute is one with her in body? For it is said, “The two will become one flesh.” 17 But he who unites himself with the Lord is one with him in spirit. 18 Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a man commits are outside his body, but he who sins sexually sins against his own body. 19 Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; 20 you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your body. |
