Simon Yap 2022 February 20 · When Jesus used the word “Gehenna” for hell, he is not saying Gehenna is hell. Gehenna is a graveyard.
Nobody suffers in a graveyard. The suffering happens in Jerusalem. After the Jews are killed they are brought to Gehenna to be burned. So. Note this. Matthew 5:22 But I tell you that anyone who is angry with a brother or sister, will be subject to judgment. Again, anyone who says to a brother or sister, ‘Raca,’ is answerable to the court. And anyone who says, ‘You fool!’ will be in danger of the fire of hell. Dangers of the fire of hell is an expression to say that you risk your body not buried but consumed in fire outside the gates of Jerusalem. It’s remarkable some “teacher” of the Bible can actually argue a graveyard can be hell. Have you been to a graveyard before? If you hear people shouting and screaming in that graveyard…. Run. Romans 5 and Galatians and tell you that you are born in sin. First who are these people in Galatia? 1 Peter 1:1 Greeting Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ, To those who are elect exiles of the DISPERSION in Pontus, GALATIA, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia, Dispersed Hebrews. Now in Romans. Romans 9:24-26 even us whom he has called, not from the Jews only but also from the Gentiles? As indeed he says in Hosea, “Those who were not my people I will call ‘my people,’ and her who was not beloved I will call ‘beloved.’” “And in the very place where it was said to them, ‘You are not my people,’ there they will be called sons of the living God.’” Now look at what the verse actually said in Hosea. Hosea 1:10 Yet the number of the children of ISRAEL shall be like the sand of the sea, which cannot be measured or numbered. And in the place where it was said to them, “You are not my people,” it shall be said to them, “Children of the living God.” When Paul tells you all humanity has sinned, he was referring to Judah and Israel not you and me. If you believe all men have sinned, don’t get married or have sex. You will bring more sinners into the world. |

So this is hell. Mark 9:42-48 Temptations to Sin “Whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him if a great millstone were hung around his neck and he were thrown into the sea. And if your hand causes you to sin, cut it off. It is better for you to enter life crippled than with two hands to go to hell, to the unquenchable fire. And if your foot causes you to sin, cut it off. It is better for you to enter life lame than with two feet to be thrown into hell. And if your eye causes you to sin, tear it out. It is better for you to enter the kingdom of God with one eye than with two eyes to be thrown into hell, ‘where their worm does not die and the fire is not quenched.’ Read this. Revelation 18:18-21 and cried out as they saw the smoke of her burning, “What city was like the great city?” And they threw dust on their heads as they wept and mourned, crying out, “Alas, alas, for the great city where all who had ships at sea grew rich by her wealth! For in a single hour she has been laid waste. Rejoice over her, O heaven, and you saints and apostles and prophets, for God has given judgment for you against her!” Then a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone and threw it into the sea, saying, “So will Babylon the great city be thrown down with violence, and will be found no more; Hell is actually a city. Now read this. Isaiah 66:24 “And they shall go out and look on the dead bodies of the men who have rebelled against me. For their worm shall not die, their fire shall not be quenched, and they shall be an abhorrence to all flesh.” It’s not a spiritual place. It’s a physical place. Note “bodies”. Now what is this great city? Isaiah 66:20 And they shall bring all your brothers from all the nations as an offering to the LORD, on horses and in chariots and in litters and on mules and on dromedaries, to my holy mountain Jerusalem, says the LORD, just as the Israelites bring their grain offering in a clean vessel to the house of the LORD. Now look at this. Revelation 11:8 and their dead bodies will lie in the street of the great city that symbolically is called Sodom and Egypt, where their Lord was crucified. Great city. Where the Lord was crucified. Jerusalem. That’s where hell was. Jerusalem AD70. Christianity greatest weapon is an expired fear concept. To escape hell you don’t need Jesus. You need to think. |

18 “If the WORLD hates you, you know that it has hated Me before it hated you. 19 If you were of the world, the world would love you as its own; but because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, because of this the WORLD hates you. 22 If I had not come and spoken to them, they would not have sin; but now they have no excuse for their sin. 25 But this has happened so that the word that is written IN THEIR LAW will be fulfilled: ‘They hated Me for no reason.’ John 15:18-19,22,25 - Jesus said that “the world” were the ones who “had the law” in verse 25. Also in verse 22 Jesus said the “world” hates his disciples (present tense). The only ones that hated Jesus and his disciples were their fellow Israelites. “The world” “hated him without a cause” to fulfill what was written in their own law. That can only refer to Israel. Only Israel had the law. Therefore “the world” is ISRAEL. That matches Paul saying “the saints would JUDGE THE WORLD”.....and Jesus in Matthew 19 said that “the 12 apostles would sit on 12 thrones JUDGING THE 12 TRIBES OF ISRAEL”. By Michael Beiras |

We need to be born-again for that reason Christ Jesus went on the cross, died and rose again for us. hold, the Lamb of God John 1:29 The next day he saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, “Behold, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world”. So she says all men have sinned against God. Read the next two lines. John 1:31 I myself did not know him, but for this purpose I came baptizing with water, that he might be revealed to Israel.” Israel. That’s the world John referred to. Don’t just sit on pews. For goodness sake, if you really believe the Bible is the word of God, at least read it properly. Don’t pick and choose your verses. |
